Proposify 3 Launches Next Month: Here's What To Expect

Written by Kyle Racki | Apr 21, 2025 11:03:00 AM

I know we’ve been teasing and hinting at Proposify 3 for a long time, but after two and a half years of development (yes, really!), the first phase of Proposify 3 is about to make its grand entrance into your proposal process next month.

First, I want to say thank you for sticking with us on this journey.

Your feedback has been the north star guiding this rebuild from the ground up. Those pain points around editor stability, performance, and usability? We heard you very loud and very clear, and they became our product team's obsession.

Some of you have already had a sneak peek of Proposify 3, but for everyone else, let me pull back the curtain on what's about to change your proposal game.

What's Ready in Phase 1

Quick note before we jump in: V3 is a significant (I’m talking MAJOR) upgrade offering greater stability, speed, and reliability in Proposify but it is the first phase and there will be more to come. Phase 1 allows you to experience these improvements in your daily workflow while we work on adding more improvements and new features in the coming months.

Ok, on to the good stuff!

If you try Proposify 3 next month, here's what you'll find waiting for you:

A completely redesigned document editor

This was one of our biggest priorities: to make the editor smoother, faster, more intuitive, and less, well, frustrating. Way less.

We added auto alignment and guides that show up when you’re moving blocks around so that layout is clean and easy.

Reliable copy/pasting (we know this one's been a thorn in your side!) You can now copy/paste text without wreaking havoc on your formatting. And your sanity.

AI-powered spelling and grammar check to make you sound like the pro you are and catch any pesky slip-through-the-cracks typos.  PS: We’ll be adding more AI features to Proposify 3 down the road.

Interactive quotes with flexible pricing tables that fit your pricing model. Now you can add as many columns as you need.

Templates in the content library with variables for standardizing your documents and not reinventing the wheel for every new deal.

YES, you’ll be able to transfer your templates over to Proposify 3.

No more email verification for buyers and signing via mobile is now easy - Streamlined sending and closing!

We improved the document analytics and activity feed so you know exactly what's happening with your proposals and exactly who is opening them.

And remember, this is just the start!

The Migration Process aka How to Transfer to V3

Some time around mid-May, you'll be able to transfer your existing templates to Proposify 3.

Don't worry – the migration process creates a copy before moving your content to the V3 format so all your existing materials remain intact.

You can continue using your current workflows without disruption while getting comfortable with the new version.

What's Coming Really Soon (Because Rome/Software wasn't built in a day)

As I mentioned before, this is just the start of Proposify 3, and some features are still in the workshop, but they will be added in the next few months:

• Integrations with invoicing and payments (We're launching with CRMs)

• Content sections, snippets, locking, and library permissions (Just templates for now)

Our dev team is already deep in the code trenches working on these to make them way better than in the existing version of Proposify  - stay tuned!

The 2025 Roadmap

Throughout the rest of the year, we'll be rolling out these additional powerhouse features and improvements to Proposify 3 to make it fully functional and fully awesome by the end of the year.

Improved features:

  • Document folders to replace the Streams feature
  • Approval workflows to ensure documents are being looked at internally before they go out to buyers.
  • Customized notifications so you get notified with only the details you need at the right time in the right way.
  • Expanded content library with sections, images, and text blocks, along with folders and permission locking.
  • Dashboard metrics for aggregate insights across your team
  • Custom variables with a variety of field types (drop-downs, dates, and more) that your sellers can use to populate documents.
  • Pricing library to replace the existing fee library so you can store your products. (We’ll eventually be adding CPQ functionality to this).

New features:

  • Inline comments so your buyers can comment on text or block selections
  • Real-time collaborative editing (see what changes are being made by other team members)
  • Version control to publish new versions to your buyers without duplicating the document.

This new version is all we can talk about here at Proposify - making it better, getting it to you faster, and having you love it.

Our team is pedal to the metal, and I’ll keep you posted with every new development and when you can expect it.

I can't tell you how much your business means to us.

Thank you for trusting Proposify to support you in winning those crucial deals.
