Q1 may be freezing in Canada, but our team has been on FIRE working on new features and improvements to New Proposify (aka V.3)
All this work means New Proposify (3.0) is now closer to full feature parity with Legacy Proposify (2.0), and in a lot of areas, blows right past it.
If you're already on New Proposify, everything below is available to you right now!
If you're still on Legacy Proposify and you want to access these features, you'll need to switch over. But remember, you don't have to commit to one version or the other. You can move back and forth while you get comfortable. Here's how.
If you're not sure whether you're using New Proposify or Legacy check out this article breaking down the differences.
Let's get into it — we're excited for you to experience the upgrade.
We've put a lot of love into the editor this quarter, and you'll notice it.
Save Document as Template — Made changes to a proposal you want to reuse? You can now save any document directly to your template library with one click.
Undo/Redo Reliability — We've made undo/redo way more dependable. And way less "No! Come back!"
Custom Font Sizes — Full control over your typography. Set any font size you need directly in the editor.
Block Locking — Lock any block on the canvas to prevent it from being accidentally moved while you're working on layout. It might be a small change, but it saves a lot of frustration.
AI Prompting — Highlight any text in the editor and write a custom AI prompt to rewrite, personalize, or refine your content right in the document, without switching tools. Great for quickly tailoring proposals to specific prospects.
Easily Add Variables to Documents — We made it simpler and easier to find, copy and paste variables throughout your documents. Just click on the side panel, search for what you want, hover over it and copy it to the clipboard.
You can now highlight any text in the editor or preview and leave a comment directly on it — no more page-level-only feedback.
Comments trigger email notifications automatically, so you don't miss a thing. For internal collaboration, you can mark a comment private so it's only visible to your team.
On the buyer side, your clients can use inline comments to ask questions, request changes, or flag anything that needs attention — right in the proposal itself.
As soon as the comment is addressed you can resolve it so it gets hidden, making it easier to manage feedback.
If you've ever had a prospect send a vague email like "Can you change something on page 3?", you'll love this.
Two integrations you know from Legacy Proposify are now available in New Proposify: Pipedrive and Zoho. Need help connecting them? See help articles for Pipedrive and Zoho.
We redesigned the automation flow builder to make setting up workflows faster and easier. Using plain English, you can create automated status updates between Proposify and your connected tools in either direction. For example you can push deal updates from Proposify into HubSpot when a proposal is signed, or pull status changes from your CRM into Proposify automatically. No technical setup required.
You're now in full control of your notifications in New Proposify.
Choose exactly which email notifications you receive based on document activity: sent, signed, viewed, forwarded, and more.
You can also set rules based on inactivity. For example, get notified if a document hasn't been viewed in a set number of days and filter by whether views are unique or repeat visits.
This was one of the most-requested features from our Legacy users, and we're glad to have it in New Proposify.
Document activity will also now display the notifications bell icon so you can see the latest activity and view more to see all past activity in your account.
We added over 20 new professionally designed templates to the New Proposify library this quarter, covering a wider range of industries, use cases, and visual aesthetics.
Here are the template new industry templates: (Takes deep breath): Strategic partnership, security services, software, architecture, catering, business, roofint, event-management, advertising, HR resources, financial management, property management, legal services, contractor, exec sponsorship, project quote, construction, and consulting.
There's likely a new starting point waiting for you — ready to customize with your own logo, brand colours, and content.
