Shopify: The Importance of Growing With Your Customers
Long known as a leading e-commerce platform for small and medium-sized businesses, Shopify has evolved its services to also meet the needs of larger, high-volume enterprise. This evolution, says Mackenzie (Mac) King, is a result of the growth and success of their existing customers. “These businesses started small on the basic plan and ended up doing well. There wasn’t something for them when they started to grow. So they had to chose to stay with Shopify, which kind of felt small, or decide to go to a different platform.” Mac talks about how, not wanting to lose their existing customers, Shopify developed features, functionality, and programs to both work with large brands, and to partner with agencies to grow their business.
